A Note from ChelseyPerforming for Rita Moreno was maybe one of the proudest moments of my career. I've never done West Side Story, so to perform it in that context — with that group of people, on that stage, for that woman — was unbelievable.
The Kennedy Center Honors may never be what they were, but it's still a one-night-only special event. And if I'm honest, even now that I've made my Broadway debut, this credit still tops it on a certain level.
